I'm blogging from the beaches of Daytona Beach, Florida! The Pioneer Track and Field Team is down here training in the sunshine and warmth.
Not only do I get to enjoy the surf and sand, but I've been able to keey my eye on the Women's Division I Championship Tournament. Although a tremendous underdog, I'm pulling for Delaware. Practically unknown, this program has the best scorer in the nation in Elena Della Donne. Not only is she an incredible player, but she made some tough decisions regarding her collegiate career in order to stay connected with family. She certainly has a mature perspective on what is important in her life.
